Announcement: Windows Server 2008 EOL

Microsoft has announced that it will be ending life for Window Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2 on January 14th 2020. With this end of life, Sumo Logic will be ending support of the Installed Collector on Window Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2 on the same date, January 14th 2020.

 

Sumo Logic will continue to accept data being collected from these collectors, but will no longer be testing the collector on these versions of Windows Server, and there will be no bug fixes or additional features added to the collector in support for these versions of Windows Server. We encourage you to upgrade your servers at the earliest opportunity.
