Filtering Dashboards (New) with Template Variables

Hi, I'm trying to create a dashboard with filters correlated with each other. I have two  filters on my dashboard - the first filters machine_name and the second filters endpoints (location_raw). After filtering the output by machine_name, I want to look at just the relevant endpoints for the specific filtered machine at the second filter. (do not write them down in the location_row filter or see all the endpoints from all the machines)
I'm adding some pictures to demonstrate the problem. 
I tried to add this row under the Query category at the Edit Template Variable of the location_raw filter. but i got an error.

 Any suggestions on how to get this to work?

  instance_id has a different data type from ID's, I guess. Please check the data type in your lookup table.
