Dividing two metrics queries to get a percentage

Why won't the below query generate the percentage correctly for #C?

 

 

 

From "#A", it looks like I have 12,899,951 

From "#B", it looks like I have 304,126

I'd expect #C to give me 97.64, but I'm not getting that.  The closest number is in the "avg" column, but even that isn't correct

  Following up on my own post, a coworker suggested using the "eval" operator on the #A and #B queries to reduce them to just the "sum" output, because it appeared #C was operating on the series and not the aggregate sum output from #A and #B.  This worked, see the attached image
