    Hi Jared,

I see now - thank you for the clarification and sorry for the misunderstanding.

I discussed this with our product manager and he has put in an enhancement request to give the option to show these values on dashboards.

Thank you for bringing this up!

    Hi Jared,

The legend should be showing regardless of type, if it's there in the search tab view of that chart. Could you give us an example query for one, and the type of chart where it doesn't show once you add it to a dashboard?

    Thanks,
    Nick

Also, have you checked the settings for the particular panel in question? You can modify where the legend shows up, and whether or not it shows up. To find this:

Click Edit (the pencil icon) at the top of the dashboard:

Then click the cogwheel on the panel in question:

Then go to the General settings and make sure it's set to "Right" or "Bottom", and not "No Legend."

    Hi Nick,

Thank you for the response. I'm not talking about the legend. I'm talking about data labels like in Excel where one can display the values associated with the graph. For the donut/pie graph this is shown in the Log Search Aggregates tab but not displayed once added to a dashboard. It appears the donut/pie graphs, as far as I can tell, are the only graphs that display this on the aggregates tab. I'm asking if there is a way to display these values for other graph types and if those values can then be displayed on a dashboard.

    Thanks
