How do I use Access Keys to access the Search API

Do I just pass the Access ID/Access Key as the username/password? That didn't seem to work when I tried it. The docs on this are completely content-free.

  Yes, you do pass in AccessId/AccessKey as the username/password, except you can't login to UI. You can use it to register collector (if the user who creates the key is Admin or has "Manage Collector" permission). You can also use it to access the API. 

  If it is not working for you, can you file a ticket with more information like what exactly is not working for you, which key you are using, etc. We can take a look .

  Thanks! It did work, it turns out I had another bug in my code preventing my query from returning any results.
