Do pinned searches have an expiration?

I had a number of pinned searches that I had been looking at the results of. I thought they would just save. But after about a week, I went back to the recent section, then to pinned searches and they were all gone. Is this a bug, or do they expire after some time?

  Saved results for pinned searches are available for 3 days.
