Sumo logic for azure web apps is not showing up in collectors list

Hi,

 

I have created a Sumo Logic for Azure Web Apps in azure portal by giving my account access id and access key. But I am not able to find the collector name in sumo logic UI after creation of the the VM. I have logged in to the VM and checked the status of sumo logic collector and It was running there.

Can you please help me out regarding this issue.

  By default, the collector will be named as the VM hostname. Sounded like in your case, the collector has not properly registered yet. You can check out the logs from the collector install folder, under the logs folder, there is collector.log and collector.out.log. More details can be found here: https://help.sumologic.com/Manage/Collection/Collector_Logs
