Logs stop being sent after a period of time

Hi everyone,

I'm having a problem with the Linux agent and hoping someone knows what to do. When I start my agent/collector, logs will be sent correctly for a few minutes and then it just stops. The collector agent continues to run, and I don't see anything in the logs to tell me there's a problem. The data just never gets published to sumo.

When I look in the logs, I see the following messages every few minutes which tells me it's sending the data for a while:
INFO  com.sumologic.scala.collector.CommonsHTTPSender - Publishing message piles: '1', messages: '1', bytes: '454', encoded: '610', compressed: '349', by transmitter: '0', sender: 'LogSender'

But then they just stop.

I'm running the agent on Ubuntu server. Does anyone have any idea what I should be looking for?

  this could be any number of conditions, I would highly recommend getting a support case open for this one.
