Please note the change to the SYD rollout date. I've updated the original post as well.

For what it's worth, this notification wasn't intended to be alarming, simply informative. We do not expect any issues this weekend or next.

The two sets of load balancers will be running in parallel for a few days before the soft cutover. The core backend team is intending to slowly reroute traffic over to the new load balanders. Once we have confirmed that 1) all traffic has been diverted, 2) that all DNS' have propagated, and 3) we are absolutely sure no traffic is coming through to the old ELB's, then - and only then - will we move forward with decommissioning them.

Is there any update needed for https://github.com/SumoLogic/sumologic-net-appenders/tree/master/SumoLogic.Logging.Log4Net before June 2019? We are currently on 1.0.0.6 but per 1.0.0.7 release date & change log does not seem the cookie change has been already covered.

Also we are using https://endpoint1.collection.us2.sumologic.com/receiver/v1/http/ endpoint for our collection and only  https://endpoint1.collection.static.us2.sumologic.com is mentioned above. Is this actually on new approach or might that be something we should be changing too?

    Hi Marcin,

Thank you for your question. I don't know the answer off the top of my head for the log4net appender, but am researching it with our team right now.

I believe your question regarding that US2 endpoint is just a typo, but I will verify that as well.

    Thanks,
    Nick

Marcin - good catch. I've updated those US2 endpoints above, as they were indeed a typo. Thank you.
