Backup saved searches

I'm trying export saved library searches in case something gets deleted by accident.
Website export works OK per http://help.sumologic.com/05Search/Library/Export-and-Import-Content-in-the-Library 

I want it to run automatically so I am using export API calls per http://api.sumologic.com/docs/#tag/contentManagement 

My recovery test fails when using the API export.
It may work with some minor transformations. Haven't tried that yet.

Curious if anyone figured it out.
