How to add collector for elastic-search? when elastic search is running on local.

Hello All,

I am new to sumo logic so, I need to add a collector on the sumo logic platform for getting elastic-search logs data and my elastic instance is running on the local machine. how do I configure for that use case? can anyone please guide me? 

I also raid the documents of sumo logic there has no mention for how to add an elastic search  bucket and configure it as a collection

  Hi Sumit,

  You should install a collector on the local machine as explained here:

  Configure a source to add local file source to ingest data from local file:

  https://help.sumologic.com/03Send-Data/Sources/01Sources-for-Installed-Collectors/Local-File-Source
