Is it possible to move data from Frequent Tier to Infrequent Tier after a period ?

We have some production logs which we would like to retain for 1 year. Is it possible to move these logs from Frequent Tier to Infrequent Tier after may be 6 months, if that helps saving costs. If yes, then how ?

  After a partition is created in a given tier, you can't change its tier. If you decide the data should be in a different tier, you must decommission the partition and create a new one.
